I am a designer, engineer, researcher, and problem solver specializing in user interface design and system engineering. Working with organizations big and small, I lead engagements in transforming complex, data-heavy problems to delightful and beautiful products. After receiving a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, I started out as a hardware engineer at IBM and Sun Microsystems before setting out to explore my creative side and nurture my artistic talent.

I’ve worked with dozens of clients in diverse industries, including telecom network monitoring firm Empirix, healthcare software leader Imprivata, and high fashion e-commerce retailer Rue La La. In 2013, I spoke at Harvard Business School on the topic of User Interface Design Principles and Process and taught an introductory course on Interface Design at General Assembly.
