Hello!
I am a designer, engineer, researcher, and problem solver specializing in user interface design and system engineering. I've been designing products across domains for the last 15 years.
I never actively plotted my career, nor did I always know what I wanted to be when I grew up. I simply followed whatever made me happy and piqued my interest. My journey began studying electrical engineering, sparked by the discovery that 1s and 0s form the basis of digital circuit design. A seminal course on computer architecture was enough to make me think, “This is it.”
When I had my fill of being in R&D and large corporations, I decided to indulge my creative side. For me, learning is a continuous cycle: read, watch, ask, and apply. When necessary, dive deeper and explore further. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to dive into a variety of fields—from shipping and networking to education with Coursera, databases with Snowflake, healthcare & e-commerce. While I haven’t stayed in any one area long enough, I’ve gained a broad perspective and an appreciation for the unique challenges of each.
I use real data in my designs, pay immense attention to details, and go a long distance to design screens and workflows that can be developed to the very last pixel. I've been fortunate to work with very bright, motivated people in my career, and hope to continue that run!
